As the first energy of spring begins to rise beneath the winter earth, you are invited to step into a weekend of renewal, ritual and quiet awakening.
This is the very first Vision Ithaca retreat - the beginning of a new lineage of sacred gatherings created by myself and Callum Watkinson.
A soft, soulful place to let go of the old, reconnect with your inner spark, and meet the year ahead with clarity, calm and fire.
Held within a cosy countryside home with a log-burning stove, shared meals, shared stories, and a shared sense of purpose, this retreat is for anyone longing to feel:
-
lighter
-
clearer
-
more connected
-
more inspired
-
more like themselves again
No spiritual experience is required. Just curiosity, willingness, and the desire to feel supported.
WHY IMBOLC? WHY BRIGID?
Imbolc marks the reawakening of life after winter - the quiet turning from darkness into light.

At the heart of this retreat is Brigid, the ancient goddess of birth, fire, creativity, the forge, healing and inspiration. One of the few deities honoured in both Pagan and Christian traditions, she represents:
-
the returning flame
-
hope after stagnation
-
creativity after stillness
-
rebirth after release
Throughout the weekend, Brigid’s energy guides our rituals, our crafting, our journeys and the rekindling of each person’s inner flame.
BRIDGING THE MASCULINE AND FEMININE THROUGH IMBOLC

WHAT TO EXPECT: A JOURNEY THROUGH FIRE, WATER, EARTH AND AIR

Friday - Release and Let Go
The fire that clears the way
4pm - Arrival and Settling In
A warm welcome into our cosy retreat house. Rooms are allocated, tea is poured, and you are guided gently into the space.
5pm - Opening Circle
Meet the group, explore the themes of Imbolc, and open yourself to whatever this weekend wants to bring.
6.30pm - Nourishing Dinner
8pm - Brigid Fire Ceremony (Part 1)
You are invited to create a small effigy of your current self — marking the habits, burdens and emotional weight you are ready to release.
9pm - Fire Ceremony (Part 2)
By firelight, we release the effigies into flame.
We work with willow tincture, a plant of flexibility and grief-releasing energy, allowing you to soften, bend, and begin reshaping your inner world without breaking.

Friday is your clearing.
A ritual closing of what you no longer wish to carry.

Saturday - Inspiration, Creativity and Deep Receiving
The spacious heart of the retreat
8am – Silent Meditation
Shared stillness as the day begins.
8.30am – Breakfast
9.30am – Creative Fire Craft (Fire): Brigid’s Crosses
Work with your hands. Weave. Talk. Reflect.
Crafting these traditional symbols is meditative, grounding, and quietly joyful.
10.30am – Coffee
11am – Shamanic Journey (Earth)
A guided drum-led journey into the imaginal world.
No experience needed - you can lie down wrapped in a blanket or sit upright. I guide you gently and safely.
Afterwards, there is space to share or simply integrate.
1pm – Lunch
2pm – Lake Scrying (Water)
A short walk to the nearby lake for water divination.
Using ancient scrying techniques, you’ll listen for images, impressions and messages reflected back to you through water.
3–5pm – Free Time
Rest. Walk. Journal. Sleep. Be.
5pm – Cacao Ceremony and Movement (Air)
A heart-opening cacao ritual followed by gentle movement or dance.
It’s playful, freeing, and always optional - but deeply energising for those who join in.
6.30pm – Dinner
8pm – Creative Sharing + Turmeric and Ginger Latte
A soft, candlelit evening where you may (if you wish) share a poem, some words, or a small piece of writing that emerged during the day.
We close with warming Imbolc herbs: turmeric, ginger and spices.

Saturday is your spaciousness.
A day to receive, explore and reconnect with your creative, intuitive self.

Sunday - Integration and Awakening
Your inner spark, reborn

8am – Silent Meditation

8.30am – Breakfast
10am – Journey to the Belinus Dragon Line
We travel together to visit a powerful earth energy line - an ancient masculine dragon line that runs across the UK.
Here, we sit with the land, listen to the rising energy beneath us, and invite clarity for the year ahead.
1pm – Lunch
2–3.30pm – Free Time
3.30pm – Closing Brigid Fire Ceremony
A full moon.
A masculine fire.
A feminine lunar fullness. A powerful union of the two.
Here you will name your intention, call in your vision, and kindle your inner spark for the months ahead.
4pm – Consolidation:
A final circle, reflection, and a small gift to carry the energy of the retreat home with you.
4.30pm – Departure

Sunday is your becoming.
A grounded, clear and renewed sense of who you are and what comes next.
